On June 20, 2023, Mr. Agron Sojati, Head of the Secretariat for Integrative Internal Security Management (IISG) visited SELEC, who was welcomed by SELEC’s Director General, Mr. Oguz Serkant Akin and Director of Legal and Internal Affairs Mrs. Tanja Levajkovikj.
Mr. Sojati used the opportunity to present the IISG, an EU project/concept designed to gather the needs of the Western Balkan countries in a framework containing three pillars, focusing on three prominent areas: Counter-Terrorism, Counter Serious Crime and Border Security.
At the meeting, it was agreed that the relations between SELEC and IISG should be further strengthened and tangible cooperation steps should be taken.
