On the 23rd of June 2022, Dr. Oğuz Serkant Akin, Director General, received at the headquarters of SELEC the courtesy visit of H.E Mrs. Füsun Aramaz, Ambassador of Republic of Türkiye to Bucharest.
During the meeting, joint expectations were expressed about further enhancing the cooperation in the fight against trans-border serious and organized crime in Southeast Europe.
The Director General of SELEC mentioned about the latest activities of SELEC and underlined that the numerous successful joint investigations concluded in the framework of SELEC are owed to the presence of both Police and Customs Liaison Officers posted by Republic of Türkiye at SELEC Headquarters.
The Ambassador of Republic of Türkiye to Bucharest expressed her appreciation as regards SELEC’s accomplishments and reiterated the full support of Republic of Türkiye to SELEC.
