President of National Police of Slovakia Col. Maj. L’ubomír Solák paid an official visit to SELEC on September 5, 2024 being welcomed by the Director General, Dr. Oğuz Serkant Akın, and Director for Legal and Internal Affairs, Ms. Tanja Levajkovikj.
Mr. Akın stated that joining of Slovak Republic to SELEC with the operational partnership agreement signed in 2023 has strengthened the Center. He also expressed that efforts to expand SELEC with new partners to contribute to the law enforcement agencies in the region in their fight against cross-border organized crime will continue.
Mr. Solák thanked for the opportunity to cooperate with SELEC, expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved to date and manifested willingness to be more active and participate more to SELEC activities and meetings
