SELEC Management received today the visit of His Excellency Mr. Giles Portman, the British Ambassador to Bucharest, accompanied by Dr. Rebecca Shah, Deputy Head of Mission, and the Liaison Officers from HM Revenue & Customs.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ongoing and future joint initiatives and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Dr. Oguz Serkant Akin expressed his sincere appreciation for the Ambassador’s visit and emphasized the importance of maintaining and enhancing the partnership between SELEC and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
The visit underscores the strong ties between SELEC and the United Kingdom, particularly given that both the National Crime Agency and HM Revenue & Customs serve as Operational Partners and have deployed Liaison Officers to the organization.
