On 2 April 2024, SELEC Management welcomed a delegation led by Mr. Enes Karić, Director of the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the meeting, Mr. Karić highlighted the challenges currently faced by law enforcement authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina in combating transnational crime.
Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of effective communication between the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies—referred to by Mr. Karić as the sole national contact point for cooperation with domestic police structures and international organizations—and SELEC. The discussions focused on ways to enhance communication in order to facilitate more efficient coordination and strengthen operational cooperation within the framework of SELEC rules.
On this occasion, the Director General of SELEC, Dr. Oguz Serkant Akin, reaffirmed SELEC’s full support for the initiation of joint investigations and regional operations, as well as the active involvement of experts in SELEC Task Forces.
