SELEC’s Director General, Dr. Oguz Serkant AKIN participated the first regional high-level conference in the field of customs anti-fraud “Cross-Border Crime Risks in an Open Europe – Shared Challenges, Shared Solutions” organized by the Customs Service of Republic of Moldova and the Mission of the High Counselors of the European Union. The event took place on 23 November 2023, in Chisinau/ Republic of Moldova.
Representatives of the Moldovan Parliament and Government, Ambassadors, heads and representatives of customs administrations, border and police services and general prosecutor’s office of Republic of Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, and representatives of international organizations such as INTERPOL, FRONTEX, EUBAM, EUAM, SELEC and others attended the conference.
