Bucharest, April 15th, 2016 – The Director for Legal and Internal Affairs of SELEC, Mrs. Snejana Maleeva, participated as a speaker at the training “Investigation and Prosecution of Internet- Facilitated Intellectual Property Crimes” organized by the Embassy of United States of America in Bucharest.
Mrs. Maleeva made an overview of SELEC and SEEPAG, highlighting the activities and results achieved by SELEC in 2015 including in the framework of the Financial and Computer Crime Task Force, presenting also the joint investigation SIMBOX awarded by SELEC.
The training gathered investigators and prosecutors from all SELEC Member States and partners, as well as representatives from the private sector.
Unites States of America is SELEC’s Operational Partner from 2014.
