On 29 September 2022, in Ankara/ Türkiye, Director General Dr. Oguz Serkant AKIN took part in a valuable discussion panel on “How Countries Adapt Themselves to New Global Trends and Tackle with the Emerging Risks on Border Management”.
The event was organized by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) and Iller Idaresi, in the framework of the kick-off conference of the project “Drafting a National Integrated Border Management Strategy and Updating the National Action Plan to implement Türkiye’s IBM Strategy”.
The conference brought together representatives of ministries, public institutions, international organizations, experts and academics, in a panel format, providing a platform for in-depth discussions on integrated border management related matters.
