On 19 of May 2023, SELEC Management received the visit of a high-level delegation headed by H.E Mr. Ivan Demerdzhiev, Minister of Interior of Republic of Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian Minister of Interior was accompanied by H.E. Mr. Radko Vlaykov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Romania, Mr. Ventsislav Katinov, Deputy Minister of Interior, Chief Commissioner Atanas Ilkov, Director of Directorate General National Police and Chief Commissioner Rositsa Dimitrova, Director of Directorate General Border Police.
The certificates of honor for the awarded joint investigations METH, VOICES and REACTION II conducted by the Bulgarian law enforcement officers with the support of SELEC were offered with this occasion.
SELEC grants annual awards in recognition of outstanding law enforcement activities carried out by the Police and Customs Authorities of the SELEC Member States in fighting trans-border serious and organized crime.
