On the 18th of March 2024, the Director General of SELEC, Mr. Oguz Serkant Akin, accompanied by Mrs. Tanja Levajkovikj, Director for Legal and Internal Affairs, visited the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, being welcomed by its Director, Mr. Enes Karic, and the members of his Cabinet.
During the meeting the parties confirmed the great importance of having law enforcement representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina in SELEC, representatives who play a significant role in developing operational cooperation in the fight against serious and organized cross-border crime in Southeast Europe and beyond.
Also, the two members of the SELEC Management had a meeting, on the 19th of March 2024 in Banja Luka, with Mr. Zoran Tegeltija, Director of Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a view of discussing how to further improve an operational cooperation in joint investigations and exchange of information processes, during transnational criminal cases, as to strengthen security in the region of Southeast Europe and beyond.
