On the 6th of August 2024, SELEC’s Director General, Dr. Oğuz Serkant Akın, paid a visit to Mr. Mustafa Tuzcu, Deputy Minister of Trade of Türkiye.
During the visit, Mr. Akın highlighted the current work and activities of SELEC, and thanked for the active contribution of the Ministry of Trade and General Directorate of Customs Enforcement, through the Liaison Officer posted at SELEC.
Mr. Tuzcu highlighted the importance of SELEC as a successful international law enforcement organization and emphasized their continuous support in fighting against transnational crimes.
Republic of Türkiye is a founding Member State of SELEC, coordinating the Anti-Terrorism Task Force.
