On 16 of November 2022, a delegation headed by Mr. Muamet Redzepi, Assistant to the Minister, Ministry of Interior of Republic of North Macedonia, paid a visit to SELEC, being welcomed by the Director General of SELEC, Dr. Oğuz Serkant Akın.
Mr. Akın mentioned that Republic of North Macedonia is one of the countries that conducted most joint investigations in the framework of SELEC in the past two years, and expressed his appreciation to the authorities of the Republic of North Macedonia for their active role and contribution to SELEC’s work.
The Assistant Minister showed great interest for SELEC’s activities in successfully combating transborder serious and organized crime for more than 23 years.
Republic of North Macedonia is coordinating the Financial and Computer Crime Task Force that was established by SELEC Member States in 2001.
