On the 10th of November 2022, Director General, Dr. Oğuz Serkant Akın, received at the SELEC Headquarters the visit of the Ambassador of Serbia to Romania, H.E Mr. Stefan Tomašević.
During the meeting were discussed the current as well as the emerging threats that impact Southeast Europe, such as migration, drug trafficking, cybercrime, smuggling, a/o.
His Excellency expressed appreciation for the work of SELEC, and re-assured the Serbia’s full support in fulfilling its mission to combat transborder serious and organized crime in the region.
Republic of Serbia is a founding member of SELEC, having Liaison Officers both from Police and Customs posted at SELEC.
