The conference addressed a broad range of critical issues, with particular emphasis on counterterrorism, the fight against transnational financial crime, and the prevention of cybercrime. The sessions, led by INTERPOL directors and enhanced by the active participation of partners, were instrumental in the overall success of the event.
Mr. Akin, highlighting the positive outcomes of the longstanding cooperation between the two organizations—including SELEC’s active involvement in INTERPOL-led operations—emphasized to the President Major General, Mr. Ahmed Naser Al-Raisi, and Secretary General, Mr. Valdecy Urquiza, the strategic importance of deepening and sustaining this partnership to bolster efforts against transnational crime.
The leadership of INTERPOL also affirmed its readiness to enhancing the partnership by developing more effective cooperation mechanisms with SELEC.
