On 10 of June 2021, the Director General of SELEC, Mrs. Snejana Maleeva received at the SELEC Headquarters the official visit of the Serbian Ambassador to Bucharest, H.E. Mr. Stefan Tomašević, who was accompanied by Ms. Jelena Čukić Matić, Minister-Counsellor.
During the meeting, Mrs. Maleeva mentioned that Republic of Serbia is one of the most active countries in SELEC, and expressed high appreciation for the work of the Liaison Officers as well as the support of the Serbian authorities in fulfilling SELEC’s mission. Mrs. Maleeva also presented the latest developments in SELEC and the near future activities to be conducted in the framework of SELEC.
The Ambassador of Serbia to Bucharest, H.E Mr. Tomašević expressed support and appreciation for SELEC’s work, and underlined the importance of SELEC in the region in fighting all forms of crime, including transborder organized and serious crime.
Republic of Serbia is a founding member of SELEC, currently both Police and Customs authorities having deployed Liaison Officers at SELEC.
