On the 5th of March 2024 the Director General of SELEC, Dr. Oğuz Serkant Akın, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Interior of Albania, H.E Mr. Taulant Balla, in Tirana.
Mutual wishes for continued support and improved relations were shared during the meeting.
The Minister expressed appreciation for the support provided by SELEC throughout the years in conducting operational meetings in a timely fashion and, at his turn, the Director General of SELEC mentioned the benefit of having posted Albanian Police Liaison Officers at the headquarters of SELEC that ensures the smooth cooperation at the operational level
Republic of Albania is a founding member of SELEC, coordinating the Anti-Fraud and Anti-Smuggling Task Force.
