On the 28th of August 2023 the Director General of SELEC, Dr. Oğuz Serkant AKIN, paid a courtesy visit to the Directorate General of Customs Enforcement of Republic of Türkiye.
Mr. AKIN met Mr. Recep KOŞAL, the Director General of the Turkish Customs Enforcement Administration, congratulated him on his appointment and mentioned the significant contribution of Republic of Türkiye in fulfilling SELEC’s mission.
During the meeting, Mr. KOŞAL stated that Turkish Directorate General of Customs Enforcement is always promoting the fight against transborder organized crime and will continue to support SELEC activities.
Republic of Türkiye is a founding member of SELEC, presently coordinating the Anti-Terrorism Task Force.
