On the 25th of July 2024, Dr. Oguz Serkant AKIN, SELEC’s Director General, received the visit of a high-level delegation from the Albanian State Police headed by Mr. Muhamet RRUMBULLAKU, General Director of Albanian State Police.
The parties discussed about the recent developments in the areas of mutual interest that concern transborder organized crime in Southeast Europe.
Mr. Rrumbullaku thanked SELEC for the support provided for operational meetings and the exchange of information with law enforcement authorities of Member States and Operational Partners, and congratulated SELEC for its 25th anniversary.
As well, Mr. Akin expressed his appreciation for the work of the Albanian police, and mentioned SELEC’s continued support.
Republic of Albania is a founding member of SELEC, coordinates the Anti-Fraud and Anti-Smuggling Task Force meetings.
