Bucharest, October 8, 2014 – The Deputy Director of DCAF, Mr. Philipp Fluri, paid today a visit to SELEC Headquarters, being welcomed by Mr. Gürbüz Bahadir, Director General of SELEC, and Mr. Cristian Duţǎ, Director for Operations.
DCAF – Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces is an international foundation established in 2000 on the initiative of the Swiss Confederation, whose mission is to assist the international community in pursuing good governance and reform of the security sector.
During the meeting there were raised general issues concerning the police and customs cooperation in the region, including discussions on strengthening the dialogue between SELEC and DCAF and future enhancement of the cooperation.
