A high-level delegation headed by Chief Commissioner Mr. Miroslav RASHKOV, Acting Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior of Bulgaria, accompanied by Chief Commissioner Zahari VASKOV, Director of General Directorate of National Police, Chief Commissioner Yavor SERAFIMOV, Director of General Directorate for Combating Organised Crime and Chief Commissioner Anton ZLATANOV, Director of General Directorate of Border Police, as well as by other directors and heads of law enforcement Bulgarian structures, paid a visit to SELEC Headquarters on 17 of March 2025, being welcomed by the SELEC Management.
During the meeting, while Director General Dr. Oguz Serkant AKIN stated that the successful cooperation between the Bulgarian law enforcement authorities with other Member States and effective participation in operational activities are much appreciated, Mr. RASHKOV emphasized the importance and the value of being a part of a cooperation mechanism such as SELEC, which facilitates effective and rapid results in the fight against organized and trans-border crime in the region.
Republic of Bulgaria is a founding and active member of SELEC, coordinating the Anti-drug Trafficking Task Force.
