SELEC’s project “Countering Trafficking in Persons” was awarded by START- Danube Region Project Fund, within the framework of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region. The project has as an objective to enhance the cooperation between the law enforcement authorities along the Danube region in dealing with the human trafficking and migrants smuggling phenomenon. START aims supporting projects from the Danube region which cover the following SELEC countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Bulgaria, Republic of Croatia, Hungary, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, and Republic of Serbia.The project “Countering Trafficking in Persons” will be developed in the period January- July 2016, with the support of all SELEC Member States and Partners, thus covering the whole Danube region.
