Last week, Director General Oguz Serkant Akin has visited the Montenegrin law enforcement authorities, meeting the Acting Director of Customs Administration, Ms. Maja Vučinić, and a high-level delegation of Montenegrin Police Directorate headed by Acting Police Director, Mr. Lazar Šćepanović.
Ms. Vučinić expressed thanks for the support that SELEC provides to the Customs Administration of Montenegro, especially in terms of cooperation with Member States through joint activities of police and customs services, contributing to regional security and enabling an effective exchange of information.
During the meeting with the head of Montenegrin Police, its Director stated that Montenegro remains committed to providing full support to the work of SELEC, and that cooperation with SELEC could be further strengthened through active participation in the upcoming initiatives and operational activities carried out by SELEC in its endeavors of combating all forms of transborder criminality in Southeast Europe.
