Chavdar GEORGIEV

Director for Operations

Mr. Chavdar Georgiev was born in 1975, in Bulgaria. Has obtained a bachelor degree at the Academy of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, and a Master’s degree in Law (LLM), currently undergoing his PhD within the Academy of Ministry of Interior on a topic “Operational police activities for prevention of illicit trafficking in firearms”.

Before being elected Director for Operations in SELEC, Mr. Georgiev held the positions of Director of District Directorate and Deputy Director of “Inspectorate” Directorate within the Ministry of Interior/ Bulgaria, having also 9 years’ experience in the “Counterterrorism” Department, General Directorate for Combatting Organized Crime, being the national EMPACT Firearms expert for Bulgaria.
Mr. Chavdar speaks English, Russian and German.
