Romulus Nicolae Ungureanu

Mr. Ungureanu is a senior law enforcement officer with more than 20 years experience and solid operational and strategic experience at international level in combating transborder organized crime. He supported the developing of both policies and practices for an intelligence-led approach.
For the past three years he was an international law enforcement advisor for UNODC, before that he occupied the position of Director of Operations of SELEC.
An active promoter of international cooperation, Mr. Ungureanu has coordinated more than 20 European and international projects on various topics.
Mr. Ungureanu has a vast experience in international investigations, international law enforcement cooperation and international relations.
He has a PhD in National Security and Rule of Law and a MA Degree in Countering Organised Crime.
